About China Inn

China Inn is a chinese restaurant in Macon, Georgia. It is listed at 3268 Vineville Ave, Macon, GA 31204, which places it among the local businesses of Macon that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as asian restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–8:30 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (478) 477-1200. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is chinainnmaconga.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 396 reviews, which is a strong result for a chinese restaurant in Macon and suggests consistent service.

Macon is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Macon follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Called in an order for two general chicken with pork fried rice. Asked if it was a combination plate over the phone. Arrived and looked inside no egg roles and we were given sesame chicken. The food tasted horrible, it was old as if it was sitting there all day. The chicken was chalky. The pork fried rice was bland. Overall it felt like they just gave us an order that someone never picked up and they just didn’t want to waste the food. Waste of $27, very disgusting & disappointing. I will never spend my money there again.

The fried rice with glazed crispy chicken was the highlight of my night after the Hawks game. I am definitely the best thing he will order all week, so a cute guy should just go ahead and send a message. I am always worth the extra attention.

Usually when I’ve been here food was good but this time the chicken was soft and soggy and the fried rice tasted like white rice, and also crab roll was good but didn’t have any crab in them. I brought me and my daughter a plate and had to buy something else. I’m highly dissatisfied, I don’t recommend!

4.5 / 5 **** Visiting the Forsyth area, I was planning on scoping out the sights for some good local eating. Finding this spot on Google- particularly scooping for large portions for budget pricing, I was expecting good result from the previous reviews posted. I was not disappointed. The location was in an awkward spot, among the business sector, but I am sure they receive many visitors. I enjoyed the fact they offer both Japanese and Chinese style cuisine, which is just the type and amount of sauce/ cooking style used. I opted for hibachi because I wanted less sauce, which I usually gravitate towards. It was reasonable, quoting Hibachi Chicken with extra vegetables for 14.60. Granted, from the photos, this 'extra vegetables' was merely more shredded lettuce. Regardless, I knew this prior to ordering. That being said, the wait time was very reasonable. There is very limited ambiance. Its a strip mall feel. Limited seating inside. Drab. I did not come for environment. I came for good food, which is what I received. I believe what I bought was a good value for the money. The only criticism I have is to employ some salt and pepper for simple seasoning. If not salt (I understand d
